Celebrating Sharon! Interview #20
Sharon coordinates Knitted Knockers of Wichita, a community of volunteers who make soft prosthetics for women who have undergone a mastectomy, supplying 7 clinics in and around Wichita, Kansas.
When Sharon was little, she wanted to be a hair stylist, and fulfilled that dream until a back injury put her career firmly aside.
Sharon describes her life so far as; Fun, Exciting, Fulfilling.
To inspire other women & girls Sharon, who survived breast cancer two times, shares, “I found with faith in God I am a stronger woman than I ever thought I would be. Never give up on yourself. Reach out to others, help when you can, give what you can, be there for others.”
